Butterflies and Double-Bass

Explores the relationship between a woman and a man, following the theme of our last production of "Hannah, an artist in dirt" and "Looking for Hannah". Themes of alienation of the body are present through the presence of the double bass, played by the woman, and how male and female relate to the outer shelf, or body, of each other and of oneself. Where is the meeting point between woman and man, what are the words spoken, the gestures; where are the bodies?

An exploration of Musicality and Text, Movement and Text, Woman and Man.
