BTERD IN THE BONE IS A CONSTALLATION OF THEATRE MAKERS WHO HAVE COLLABORATIED TOGETHER TO CREATE THEIR OWN TRAINING IN THEATRE TECHNIQUES.

THEY HAVE CREATED UPWARDS OF FOURTY FULL SCALE PERFORMANCES AND FILMS, AND THEIR OWN THEATRE FESTIVAL IN PARIS. MANIFESTO HERE

GUDDA HULDUDÓTTIR

​Guðbjörg Ása Jóns Huldudóttir, Gudda as we call her, is an actress based in a village in the north-west of Iceland. She trained with Bred in the Bone at the Grotowski Institute in Poland in the summer of 2010 following her graduation as an actor from Rose Bruford College. Gudda has been a core member of the company ever since, working on shows such as 21 Windmills, She is Lear, She is Macbeth and The Ship. In addition Gudda is on the company‘s trainer team, working with and training students who join Bred in the Bone‘s residencies. 
In addition to her work with Bred in the Bone Gudda has also worked as a drama teacher and director in Iceland, together with co-creating and performing in a couple of theatre shows. 
At the moment Gudda works at an old peoples home in her village, practises gardening and gives classes of silly-gym to the villagers between her sessions with Bred in the Bone

Tinna graduated from Acting at Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance in the summer of 2010 and has since then partcipated in workshops with different artists and worked with various theatre groups in Iceland.
She is a member of Bred in the Bone Theatre Laboratory and has for the last five years studied classical singing with Alina Dubik at Reykjavik College of Music

KIT RADFORD

Kit Radford is a multi-disciplinary artist, writer and theatre maker based in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire. She has been a member of Bred In The Bone since 2014, Performing in Orpheus, Onwards To Progress, She Is Macbeth, The Ship and also sharing her music within the company. She is a multi-instrumentalist, often to be found with a Guitar, and Accordion or singing. She is part of Bred In The Bone's training, using voice and music to incorporate a variety of improvisational sounds into the work. 

Solo projects include; Lilith (Theatre Deli On The Moor)  Drought (Square Chapel, Hebden Bridge Arts Festival, Vault Festival, San Diego Fringe Festival, Hollywood Fringe) Tiny Metal Islands (Manchester International Festival).

His play Onwards, to Progress has been performed upwards of 10 times internationally by the company, including a well-received run at Brighton Fringe 2016. Gabe will begin his PhD in 2018, investigating the work of Bred in the Bone in relation to embodiment and musicality.
Originally from the Yorkshire dales and temporarily subdued by the high-rise capital, Gabe has recently moved somewhere very flat, which has proven equally conducive to agoraphobia and increased bike-usage.

MATTHIEU LELOUP-BELLON

Theatre Actor and Director, Matthieu has trained with Zaddredhin Zahed and Jacques Lecoq in Paris, Judith Holzer in Berlin and Indonesia. He is co-founder of Bred In The Bone Theatre company, and Artistic Director since the inception of the company in 2009.
