Daniel Gott - musician/performer


Dan has joined the Company since 2009. bringing his music to the company, he is instrumental in the Musicality work developped by Matthieu and has supported the workshops and training of Bred In The Bone since january 2010. Musical director for Windmills rehearsals, musical director and performer in Hannah, an artist in dirt; the Shakespeare Band, and Looking for Hannah. Dan is now free-lance collaborator for the Company.

Daniel graduated from the unique Actor Musicianship course at Rose Bruford College in July 2008. Before this, he has worked with various touring theatre companies and been a busker in many of Britain & Ireland's towns and cities..

He roles have included Candlewick / Puppet Master in Pinocchio (Polka Theatre), Sheriff Talbott in Orpehus Descending (Rose Theatre), The Narrator in Into The Woods (Greenwich Theatre), Shauva in The Caucasian Chalk Circle (The Barn Theatre) and Wishee Washee in Aladdin (UK tour). He has also starred as an Actor-Musician in productions for the Queens Theatre Hornchurch
and in Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes. Daniel is also a proud member of Bred in The Bone Theatre.
When not on stage, Daniel can be found working extensively as a musician in the London Irish scene, playing in various different pubs and other venues across the capital. In 2009 he signed a record deal with 'The Punchbowl Band' for Decca Records and worked with Hans Zimmer on the Sherlock Holmes soundtrack. Daniel is proud to be a member of Equity, the Musicians Union and Unite Against Fascism.
