Jeremy Harrison - musician / performer




Jeremy trained at RADA and the Moscow Arts Theatre before gaining a First Class Honours degree in Humanities with Music at the Open University.
He now works as a teacher, actor, musician, director, composer and musical director.

For BITB Jeremy has created the music for Unreal City and performed alongside Rafal Habel, Kryshas Krotoska and Tanya Munday with the direction of Matthieu Leloup/Bellon.

Theatre includes
the original West End casts of Crazy For You, The Threepenny Opera at the Donmar and From A Jack to a King; numerous repertory seasons at theatres including West Yorkshire Playhouse, York Theatre Royal, Coventry Belgrade, Ipswich’s New Wolsey Theatre and the London Bubble. He was a core member of John Doyle’s award winning company of actor musicians and work for them has included A Star Danced, Carmen (Watermill, international tour and Covent Garden Opera House), Tom Jones (world premier) Irma La Douce, Cabaret and the TMA Award winning Moll Flanders. His film and television credits include De-Lovely, Big Cat, Londons Burning, The Bill, Iphegenia At Aulis and two series of Playing the Field. He has written music for and directed many shows including Cabaret, Fen, Jill and Brer Rabbit as part of Birmingham Rep’s studio season.

Jeremy is currently Programme Director of Actor Musicianship at Rose Bruford College, where his area of specialism is the musicality of acting.
