Nick Borsack - director/writer/dramaturg


Nick is a freelance director from Shakespeare's County, Warwickshire, and has grown surrounded by The Bard and tourists, so is very grateful and excited to be joining Bred in the Bone in 2011 on 21 Windmills, as an assistant and occasional scenic artist. He then had the titanesque job of compiling, dramaturging and writing the latest version of 21 WINDMILLS, a 200 pages long script reshaped and performed in Kent on 26-28 September 2013.

Nick graduated Rose Bruford College's Directing BA in 2009 and this year he received a Rose Bruford Graduate Director's Bursary. He is now completing an MA at Goldmisth University London.

Other productions include A Million Thing by Tracy Harris, Off Cut Festival '11, Riverside Studios. This is a Chair by Caryl Churchill, Rose Brufod College, where Nick was a Visiting Director. Bright Unconquered Sons: Fragments from Shakespeare, which has been co-produced by Southwark Playhouse; other performances include The Pleasance, Islington and ITSFest '09, Amsterdam. Thirty-Two Years is Nothing by Alexandra Wood, BAC. Nick has written, directed and lead workshops for Made From Scratch.
